Opened in 1911 as the Princess Theatre, Star Theater is a historic former silent-film and burlesque house that now operates as a live music and performance venue in Portland’s Old Town/Chinatown. After a 2011 renovation, it functions as an intimate general-admission room (about 500 capacity) presenting touring bands, DJs, burlesque and special events amid a dense cluster of downtown venues.
