Oregon Museum of Science & Industry (OMSI)

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry) is Portland’s hands?on science and technology museum on the east bank of the Willamette, featuring exhibit halls, the Kendall Planetarium, the Empirical Theater, and the USS Blueback submarine. Founded in 1944, the museum has been at its current Central Eastside site—formerly PGE’s Station L—since 1992, anchoring a growing riverfront district with easy access to downtown over Tilikum Crossing. The Empirical Theater seats 300 for private screenings and presentations.
