Cinemagic is a historic single?screen repertory cinema on SE Hawthorne Boulevard, known for classics, cult films, and special series. Opened in 1914 as the Palm Theatre and renamed several times before adopting the Cinemagic name in 1991; it has upgraded sound/amenities since 2021 and expanded its lobby. Set along the Hawthorne District’s indie dining and retail strip, it sits across from Gift Public House and is surrounded by bars and eateries.
