Barrel Room is Portland’s longest?running dueling piano showbar, hosting high?energy all?request performances alongside comedy nights and open jams. Founded in 2010 and, after 2020, relocated within Old Town to 120 NW Couch St, it offers a lively, participatory vibe with entry via a patio gate amid the neighborhood’s nightlife.

Street parking in Old Town after 7 pm; nearby flat lot and parking structure at 1st & Davis; SmartPark garage available for around $8 all day.

Public transit

About 2–3 blocks to the Old Town/Chinatown MAX stations at NW 5th & Couch and NW 6th & Davis (Green/Orange/Yellow), and a short walk to Oak/SW 1st Ave for Blue/Red; Skidmore Fountain station permanently closed on August 24, 2025.
