About
Typhoon comes to the farm for the first time with a special stripped-down performance created just for this show, bringing their sweeping, emotionally charged indie rock to Sauvie Island in a more intimate format. Known for layered instrumentation and deeply personal songwriting, the Portland-based band will appear in a configuration that highlights the heart of their songs while still building the powerful moments they’re known for. It’s a rare chance to experience Typhoon, perfectly suited to a summer evening in the wide-open setting of the farm.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in among the fields and open sky of our regenerative farm on Sauvie Island. Arrive early to enjoy fresh-grilled farm food, along with local craft beer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
This is a limited-capacity outdoor show. Advance tickets strongly recommended.

ABOUT TYPHOON
Twenty years ago a bunch of teenagers from Salem, Oregon played a show at the Clinton Street Theater in southeast Portland. They were all between the ages of sixteen and nineteen, unkempt and dressed in plaids and earth-tones. The songs were murder ballads and gregorian chants and sea shanties. One song featured the dropping of a giant nautical chain repeatedly. Afterward, more than one audience member commented that the whole thing reminded them of Lord of the Flies.
Typhoon is celebrating 20 years and you’re invited.
