Richard Moore: Songs with Something to Say

Richard Moore is a Portland singer-songwriter whose musical journey spans more than five decades. He began performing in high school before touring Europe and Thailand with a rock-and-roll band in the 1970s. After settling in Portland, Moore founded Tag Team Audio, where he spent 40 years engineering commercial audio while continuing to write songs of his own.

Moore eventually returned to live performance, joining longtime friend Cal Scott for a celebrated songwriter round at O’Connor’s in Multnomah Village that continued for 12 years. His songs combine thoughtful storytelling, humor, honesty, and the perspective of a life fully lived.
