Were thrilled to welcome our first Laugh Track guest: the brilliant Amy Miller!
Amy Miller was one of Comedy Centrals Up Next comics, and has a Half Hour Special called Ham Mouth on Comedy Central. She is a paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store, The Comedy Cellar, the Laugh Factory and The Hollywood Improv. Recently she was a guest on CBSs After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson, Comics Unleashed, and became the host of The Basement Tapes Podcast with The Osbourne Family. Yep, those Osbournes. As a brand new comic she was a breakout favorite in the final season of Last Comic Standing. She has a half hour comedy special on Epixs Unprotected Sets and she has been a staple opener for Tom Segura, Wanda Sykes, Maria Bamford, Arsenio Hall, Nicole Byer and several more of her comedy idols! She was also a featured comic on Vicelands Flophouse. On Last Comic Standing, Keenen Ivory Wayans said she had one of the fiercest jokes he had ever heard. Originally from the East Bay, Amy found her comedy chops in Oakland and is still a regular at the SF Punch Line and Cobbs Comedy Club. Her material is personal, relatable, 100% authentic and most importantly filled with jokes. The Laugh Button says She found a wildly creative way to find empowerment while simultaneously sparking laughter and Courting Comedy says Miller juxtaposes an unassuming demeanor with unflinching assurance. After a move to Portland, Amy quickly rose to the top of the Pacific Northwest comedy scene, winning Portlands Funniest in Helium Comedy Clubs annual contest, as well as being voted Portlands Funniest Comedian two years in a row in the Willamette Week.
Amys debut album Solid Gold is available on the legendary label Kill Rock Stars, and her sophomore album California King is available on Blonde Medicine Records.
