Spectrum Between presents Hollis Frampton’s 1970 structural experimental film Zorns Lemma on 16mm.

Named after Zorn’s lemma, a method used in set theory developed by mathematician Max Zorn, the non-narrative film emerged from Frampton’s Word Pictures, a photography project of over 2,000 black-and-white 35mm photographs of environmental words.

Spectrum Between is an independent, nomadic film exhibition group based in Portland dedicated to screening all manner of experimental, avant-garde, and underground films in their original analog formats.
