Show & Sell is the only Improv Comedy Show where you can unload your used “Tandem Tricycle”, pick up baggies of “Slavic Hair” for only $490, or celebrate all the weird and wonderful real items from the world of Facebook Marketplace. Whether you’re buying, selling, or just browser window shopping, this comedy show/swap meet hybrid aims to unpack all the thrifted finds and kooky characters that inhabit the digital landscape of the Metaverse.
Want to be part of the action? Attendees are encouraged to bring and donate their secondhand goods in-person for a chance to see them come to life in never before seen improv gold. Later, the chosen item will be sold on Facebook Marketplace itself, with all proceeds going to Community Warehouse, a local nonprofit furniture bank that connects donated household goods directly to neighbors in need.
Show & Sell is produced by the Portland-based Improv Team Step Daddies. Starring Matt Berger, Ryan King, Sky McLeod, Katelyn Michelson, Justin Ulbrich, and special guests, this is a fresh night of Portland Comedy with vintage charm.
