Launching into our 23rd season, we'll keep up our mission to MOVE DANCE FORWARD with TWO WORLD PREMIERES and the return of a fan favorite, The Other Half of We, from Artistic Director Sarah Slipper.
Beloved Ihsan Rustem will create a new work for the company alongside a premiere from rising choreographer Akira Uchida whose vibrant creative voice traverses between the concert and commercial dance scenes of Los Angeles and New York.
Sarah Slipper's cinematic duet, The Other Half of We, which premiered in 2023, is inspired by American playwright Edward Albee’s Marriage Play depicting a couple stuck in a cycle of dysfunction.
