About
Founded in 1896, the Oregon Symphony is Portland’s professional orchestra and is the oldest orchestra in the Western United States. Led by Jean Vollum Music Director David Danzmayr since 2021, the ensemble performs regularly at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and presents an annual season of classical and pops programming.
