The Moth StorySLAM is The Moth’s open-mic storytelling competition (established as part of The Moth’s live events program in 2001) where participants tell true, personal five-minute stories on a chosen theme. It is part of The Moth nonprofit’s global programming, which produces hundreds of live shows annually and the Peabody?Award–winning Moth Radio Hour. StorySLAM winners and standout storytellers often go on to appear on The Moth Mainstage and in the organization’s podcast and radio programs.
