NPR’s All Songs Considered described Sturtz as “a reassuring breath of fresh air that pulls me back to simpler times.” The group released their second studio album Hyacinth in September 2024 and have played listening-room and regional venues such as Levitt Pavilion and the Belly Up. The core lineup includes vocalist/guitarist Andrew Sturtz and cellist/vocalist Courtlyn Carpenter.
