Popular Front were active around 1980–1983 and released the 7" single "Doomsday Army" b/w "Puppet" (1981); their work was included on the Last Call: Vancouver Independent Music 1977–1988 compilation. Vocalist Allen Moy went on to co-found the Mo=Da=Mu independent label. Live recordings and archival material relating to the band appear in university and local-scene archives, and line-up credits include Allen Moy, Douglas Cass, Scott Martin, Chris Taylor and Fred Hamilton.
