Formed in 1990, Morta Skuld signed to Deaf/Peaceville and released their debut Dying Remains in 1993. The band split in the late 1990s, reformed in 2012, and has released multiple comeback records, including the 2024 album Creation Undone and a 30th?anniversary reissue of Dying Remains.
