About
Formed in 1979 by guitarist Piotr Luczyk, Kat rose to national prominence with the 1986 dual-language debut Metal and Hell / 666. The group went through multiple lineup changes and legal disputes but continued releasing albums and touring internationally; original vocalist Roman Kostrzewski died in February 2022. The band signed with Pure Steel Records and released Without Looking Back in 2019 and The Last Convoy in 2020.
