John Scofield is an acclaimed American guitarist and composer who has recorded over 30 albums and is a three-time Grammy Award winner. He rose to prominence in the 1980s and has since explored electric, groove-oriented projects; his Electrospective project revisits material from his Blue Matter, Überjam, and A Go Go eras with an all-star band. Scofield continues to tour internationally and holds an academic post as an adjunct professor of music.
