Holiday Brass is an ensemble founded in 1992 by trumpet player Susan Slaughter featuring musicians primarily from the brass section of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. The group performs annual holiday concerts (historically at the Saint Louis Cathedral Basilica) and has recorded a release titled Holiday Brass (Music Masters 01782) featuring Susan Slaughter. Performances have supported causes such as the International Women’s Brass Conference.
