Formed around 2006 by singer-songwriter Jason Johnson, Buffalo Jones has released five studio albums beginning with Wake Up. Struggle. (2008). Their 2019 album Standing By was recorded with producer David Lowery, and the band released their fifth album, Celebrate, on September 26, 2025; they continue to perform regularly and organize local benefit shows.
