Formed in 2016 by brothers Henry and Pierre Beasley, Balu Brigada evolved from early local projects into a four?piece touring act. Their debut album, Portal, was released on 29 August 2025 and they made their US television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 5, 2025. The band signed with Warner Music Australia and Atlantic Records and was named one of SiriusXM’s "Future Five" for 2025.
